Born 1988 in Mannheim. Studies in sound and video engineering at RSH / HSD Düsseldorf from 2010 to 2017. Freelance works include live streaming, video production, music production, and more. Jonathan Kastl is based in Cologne.

I am currently part of the video team for "Atemschaukel" at Schauspiel Köln, a play adapted from the novel by Herta Müller, directed by Bastian Kraft (2021).

Like You Really Mean It is a video by Ale Bachlechner, for which I did camera, sound, editing and compositing (2020).

Ambient Pop quartet Marton Harvest is where I play synthesizers and percussion. I also edited a series of live videos, accompanying our EP Monroe (2020).

Studio Hallo is an artistic web series consisting of four episodes, created by Ale Bachlechner, Felix Zilles-Perels and myself (2018).

I am also working as an audio / video producer at 1LIVE.
